TILLINGHAM, RYE

10AM-7PM

£160 (payment plan available)

When was the last time you indulged in yourself?

Escape the city and gather with us for an intimate day retreat at the beautiful TILLINGHAM. A day of yoga, sound, growth and connection, helping you shift, left go and melt into the softness of November.

Our un(WINE)d retreat is the ultimate self-gift. A day for you to move your body, drink natural wine, eat delicious food, chill out, belly laugh and soak in all of life’s richness without any other agenda.

Your autumny, wintery (re)TREAT.

(Please note, this retreat is for people in the LGBTQIA+ community and allies)

Together we’ll meet on a late-autumn Sunday. A community of vibrant, open minded, curious humans held in the perfect escape- a hidden corner of the Sussex Weald. With your kind of people.

Our day will begin with Natalia guiding a Yang To Yin Yoga flow, moving you through an empowering asana practice into deep restoration. (This yoga class is suitable for all levels)

Next, a farm to table brunch will be laid out for us in the private dining room- a chance to chill, chat and make some new mates.

Then, a talk by Calypso on how to ACTUALLY switch off where she’ll uncover ways for you to increase balance, minimise burnout and open up intuitively, honouring and understanding all parts of you.

To follow, a sweet self-massage session with essential oils to nourish your body and calm your nervous system, leading into the loving vibration and healing powers of the crystal bowls.

We’ll then enjoy a tour of the Tillingham winery and vineyard including a taste through 4 of their glorious biodynamic wines with their team, followed by woodfired sourdough pizza (and more wine if we want) in the Dutch Barn surrounded by the most beautiful wild flowers.

getting there

So we can enjoy el vino, we’ll be travelling down to Tillingham by train together. We’ll meet at St Pancras station at 8:15AM sharp to catch the 8:37AM train.

Train tickets currently cost £30 return and are not included in the retreat day price. We advise you to book these ASAP once you’ve secured your retreat ticket as there are limited trains and tickets on a Sunday.

We’re aiming to catch the 6:53PM train home from London which gets us into St Pancras at 8:18PM.

We will be providing taxi transfers to and from Rye Station to Tillingham (included in your retreat price).

If you are coming from a different place in the UK, the group transfer will be leaving Rye Station at 9:45AM so please plan your train arrival accordingly and we can meet you at the station.

If you’d like a bit more flexibility on when you leave (because you know what it’s like when you’re deep in a DMC and you don’t want to go!!), a Super Off Peak Return ticket only costs £10 more so you can go for that option.

Here’s a link to book your train tickets once you’ve bought your retreat ticket.

You are of course welcome to drive if you don’t plan to drink. The venue has a free car park and the address is Tillingham Dew Farm, Dew Lane Peasmarsh East Sussex TN31 6XD.

Alternatively, Tillingham has an array of gorgeous hotel rooms and you’re more than welcome to check out their availability here if you’d like to stay the night.

about people like us

Hey, we’re Calypso + Natalia- a queer couple from London and we are on a mission to make retreats as inclusive as possible for LGBTQIA+ people.

People like us was born through our own individual experiences of feeling like the 'other' in wellness + personal development environments.

Our retreats are safe, celebratory spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to experience all of the beauty that wellness spaces bring, minus the triggers.

We share pronouns and refrain from using gendered language, environments and heteronormative assumptions at all of our retreats and encourage our community to do the same.

So no matter who you are, where you're from, how you identity or who you love, we welcome and celebrate you. However, to ensure this is a safe space, if you do not identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or are not an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, our retreats are not for you.
